The Confucius Institute in Malaysia
Global Hanyu & Culture College hosts the Confucius Institute, a Hanyu promotion network led by The Office of Chinese Language Council International (hanban.edu.cn) under the government of the People’s Republic of China. The Confucius Institute will be known to the public in Malaysia under the name of Shanghai Jiaotong University – Global Hanyu & Culture Center (SJTU-GHCC). This is the official core organization in Malaysia sanctioned by Hanban for the promotion of Chinese culture and the teaching of Hanyu.
